Vaccination against highly pathogenic avian Influenza

Preventive vaccination of poultry and captive birds against highly pathogenic avian influenza is prohibited in the EU. However, preventive vaccination may be permitted when carried out in accordance with a vaccination strategy that complies with the requirements laid down in EU Regulation 2023/361.
