Lists of approved food establishments in Denmark

The list shows name and approval number for all establishments with animal food production or handling.

Additionally, you can find the list of food establishments with wholesale fresh fruit and vegetables production/handling at the bottom of the same page on the webpage.

List of wholesale establishments handling honey, wholesale establishments producing sprouts, and food plants approved for handling food of animal origin (meat, mussels, fish, milk, eggs etc.).

The approval number of an appr​oved plant makes it possible to identify the plant – and thereby trace the food back to the specific plant. The approval number is part of the labelling of the food together with the word 'Denmark' or the letters 'DK' in an oval.

The list is provided in two formats: as a spreadsheet and as a pdf-file.

When you open the pdf-file you can open the bookmarks in your pdf-reader and use the bookmarks to quickly shift to the type of establishment you want to see.

The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration publish lists of organic operators, wholesale establishments handling honey, wholesale establishments producing sprouts, and food plants approved for handling food of animal origin​.
